Bulky waste

Bulky waste includes consumer durables such as domestic appliances, furniture, bed bases, mattresses, and, more in general, all those materials that, for their size and characteristics, cannot be disposed of in the ordinary waste collection.

Among the bulky waste, there are some that contain toxic materials (such as lead and mercury) and which, if not properly treated, may cause serious damage to the environment.

Citizens can dispose of bulky waste in thee ways, depending on the municipality of residence: direct disposal to the collection centres, request for collection at home prior reservation by phone or via ISApp - Isontina Ambiente app for smartphones.

The bulky goods category also includes WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment, Batteries and Accumulators) that Isontina Ambiente treats under the agreement signed with Raecycle sc p a. (www.raecycle.it).

Thanks to this agreement, even those who sell domestic appliances can take advantage of this public service to dispose of the old appliances taken in from private citizens who buy new equipment.
