All the waste that cannot be recycled, processed and reused constitutes the real waste: it is the so-called dry residual waste.
If the separate waste collection is carried out carefully and accurately, very little material will be disposed of in the container of the dry residual waste. A careful separate waste collection would reduce the total cost of our service, which at the moment is very high for the collection of this type of waste.
In order to dispose of the dry residual waste, please use the yellow bags that Isontina Ambiente delivers at your home once a year; those who run out of bags will be able to find and buy them in authorized shops.
The condominium blocks having a large internal space and at least 10 resident families can request a green container.
In Monfalcone there is VASCO
The citizens of Monfalcone who have difficulty in using the "door-to-door" collection system can bring paper and cardboard, plastic and cans, wet and residual dry waste to VASCO, the mobile container supporting the collection, that is moved in rotation to 8 different points of the city.

EXPERIMENTAL PROJECT FOR THE COLLECTION OF DRY RESIDUAL WASTE
In October 2014 Isontina Ambiente has launched an experimental project for the collection of dry residual waste aimed at improving the quantity and quality of residual dry waste fractions disposed of by users.
This project requires that each user is equipped with a grey lidded container with a microchip (TAG Rfid) which, at the time of delivery, identifies each user.
Our operators read the code of the microchip with a special bracelet when they remove the content, and register the emptying operation.
In condominium blocks with at least 10 families, the microchip is directly fixed to the bin.
The municipalities that have joined the experimental project are Mariano del Friuli, Turriaco, Romans d'Isonzo, Cormons, Mossa, San Canzian d'Isonzo, Monrupino and Sgonico - Zgonik, Medea, Villesse, Gradisca d'Isonzo, Staranzano, Ronchi dei Legionari (area F); Capriva del Friuli, Doberdò del lago, Dolegna del Collio, Farra d'Isonzo, Moraro, Sagrado, San Lorenzo Isontino, San Floriano del Collio, San Pier d'Isonzo and Savogna d'Isonzo.
RESIDUAL DRY WASTE in GRADO and DUINO AURISINA
In order to correctly dispose of the dry residual waste, the users of the municipality of Grado and Duino Aurisina must use the metal or green road containers spread over the territory.
