Card and cardboard waste includes all types of paper with the exclusion of tinfoil and greaseproof paper: newspapers and magazines, boxes, cases, bags, egg cups and sheets of paper (preferably used on both sides).

Paper and cardboard must be disposed of in paper bags or in paper boxes. Newspapers, if possible, should be tied in bundles in order to avoid problems with the wind, often blowing in our area, and they should not be disposed of in plastic bags and containers to avoid mixing paper and plastic.

If you live in Monfalcone, Romans d'Isonzo, Cormons, Staranzano, Gradisca d'Isonzo, Farra d'Isonzo, Medea, Mossa, San Canzian d'Isonzo, Capriva del Friuli, Dolegna del Collio, San Lorenzo Isontino, Moraro, Turriaco, Doberdò del lago, San Pier d'Isonzo, Savogna d'Isonzo, Ronchi dei Legionari (area F), San Floriano del Collio and Villesse you can use, for paper and cardboard waste, the white bins supplied by the offices in charge at the moment of your registration. If a white bin is not enough for you, you can place the additional amount of paper you want to dispose of beside it, using a box.

Recycling points in Gorizia

If you are a home user who lives in Gorizia you can personally dispose of paper and cardboard in one of the recycling points. By entering the tax code in the appropriate computerized registration system, all your paper and cardboard deliveries will be stored; at the end of the year you will receive a discount on the waste bill on the basis of the amount of paper and cardboard that you have disposed of with this system.

In Monfalcone there is VASCO

The citizens of Monfalcone who have difficulty in using the "door-to-door" collection system can bring paper and cardboard, plastic and cans, wet and residual dry waste to VASCO, the mobile container supporting the collection, that is moved in rotation to 8 different points of the city.

In some municipalities the administrations have requested a supplementary cardboard removal service for businesses.

The regulations of the municipalities state which is the yearly amount of paper that a company can dispose of by using the urban collection service.

PAPER and CARDBOARD in GRADO, DUINO - AURISINA, MONRUPINO and SGONICO - ZGONIK

In the municipalities of Grado, Duino Aurisina, Monrupino and Sgonico - Zgonik, paper and cardboard waste produced by families must be disposed of in the appropriate white street bins.

Companies and businesses operating in Duino Aurisina or in Grado town centre have a door-to-door collection service instead. Paper and cardboard must be disposed of in paper bags or cardboard boxes while newspapers and magazines must be tied in bundles.
