Beware of scams!!!

Isontina Ambiente informs citizens that misleading SMS messages are circulating, reporting false irregularities in the payment of the waste tax and inviting them to contact a premium-rate phone number.

This is a phishing attempt to steal personal data or charge high costs.

The message contains phrases such as: “The Tari position is irregular. A prompt contact is required at the number 89347716 to avoid further complications.”
In this regard, it is appropriate to clarify that:

• the number 89347716 is a special rate and high-cost numbering, calling it carries the risk of credit or personal data theft;
• Isontina Ambiente does not send SMS for communications regarding the TARI and does not request urgent contacts through premium numbers;
• official communications occur only through institutional channels.

Citizens are invited to pay maximum attention and to:

• do not call the indicated number;
• do not reply to the SMS;
• do not provide personal or banking information;
• delete the message immediately;
• check your TARI position only through the official channels of Isontina Ambiente.
