ELDERLY, DISABLED AND CHILDREN

THE GREEN BAG

To facilitate the disposal of waste by the more vulnerable categories such as the elderly and disabled (with certain requirements), the municipalities of Gorizia, Monfalcone, and Ronchi dei Legionari have established a simplified waste delivery system.
The required requirements are as follows:

Gorizia

1. Age over 75 years
2. Disability greater than 2/3 (67% disability)

Monfalcone

1. Age over 75 years
2. Disability over 75%

Ronchi dei Legionari

  1. Age over 80 years and residents
  2. Disabled individuals with a certified disability greater than 50%


Eligible individuals receive a green bag where, depending on the municipality, they can insert different materials: the following list

The request for the green bag must be submitted to the competent municipal offices, which provide information on the collection days at the time of delivery.

DIAPERS, ADULT DIAPERS AND SYRINGES

Dedicated containers are provided to those who need to dispose of large quantities of diapers and adult diapers or syringes.

Residents in the municipalities of Grado, Monfalcone, San Canzian d'Isonzo, Duino Aurisina, Monrupino, and Sgonico must apply to the municipal offices.

Residents in the other municipalities managed by Isontina Ambiente must instead fill out specific forms that must be requested:

3) to the Isontina Ambiente offices in:

Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM (from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM by appointment only)

Monday from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM

Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM

The collection of containers takes place at the company depots in Gorizia and Fogliano Redipuglia with methods that are sent along with the forms.
