The TARI in Gorizia
Description
From January 1, 2014, in the Municipality of Gorizia, the Municipal Waste Tax (Tari) is applied to cover the costs related to the management of municipal solid waste services.
Those who own or hold, in any capacity even de facto, premises and uncovered areas located in the municipal territory, intended for any use, capable of producing urban waste, are required to pay the tax.
The management of the tax remains with Isontina Ambiente based on the current regulatory provisions.
The ownership of the tax belongs to the Municipality.

Calculation methods
The methods for the application of the tax are delegated to the regulation for the discipline of the waste tax approved by the City Council with resolution no. 6 dated 26/4/2023 and can be found on the website of the Municipality of Gorizia
When to pay
The Municipality of Gorizia annually decides the payment deadlines for the Tari.
An advance payment and a final settlement are planned, as well as further adjustments for special situations (cessations, takeovers, new users following the issuance of bills, etc.)
Where and how to pay
The notice can be paid through the PagoPA platform or F24 form at all post offices, bank counters, via home banking services (internet), and at authorized tobacconists with a commission charge determined by the payment circuit used.
RATES
Annual fee
The TARI is paid based on the rate applied for the calendar year.
The fee for domestic users is based on the area and the number of occupants.
The fee for non-domestic users is based on the area and the type of activity carried out.
Daily rate
The daily fee, applied to users who temporarily occupy (*) public premises or areas, with or without authorization, for public use or areas burdened by public passage rights. It is calculated based on the square meters of occupied surface, for the days of occupation, and is determined based on the annual tax rate, prorated daily, increased by a percentage amount equal to 100%.
(*) Temporary occupation refers to use for less than 183 days within the year, even if not continuous.

WASTE TAX (TARI) 2024: REDUCTION FOR LESS AFFLUENT HOUSEHOLDS.
NON-DOMESTIC USERS - REQUEST FOR REDUCTION OF WASTE TARIFF (Legislative Decree 152/06 art. 238 paragraph 10)
Non-domestic users who have chosen to dispose of the recyclable fractions of their urban waste outside the public service and can demonstrate that they have been sent for recovery through a certificate issued by the entity that carries out the recovery activity of the waste itself can request a reduction of the Waste Fee using the form below to be sent to Isontina Ambiente by January 31 of each calendar year.
