The TARI in Turriaco
Description
Isontina Ambiente manages the Municipal Waste Tax (Tari) on behalf of the Municipality of Turriaco using the pay-as-you-throw method (TARIP) for both domestic users (since 2019) and non-domestic users (since 2020).
The introduction of this tariff method rewards virtuous taxpayers who carefully separate their waste, taking into account how much the residual waste collection service is used.
Each taxpayer is assigned a container equipped with a microchip that uniquely identifies it, and whose code is recorded by the operators in charge of collection at each emptying.
To each taxpayer, even in the absence of contributions or failure to collect the bin, and as a deterrent to non-virtuous behaviors of waste abandonment, an annual minimum number of emptying (minimum contribution threshold) is charged, deemed consistent with consumption habits and based on the members of the household.
Anyone who owns or holds, in any capacity even de facto, premises and uncovered areas located in the municipal territory, intended for any use, capable of producing waste, is required to pay the tax.

Calculation methods
The rules for the application of the new tax are delegated to the waste tax regulation (Iuc- part Tari), approved by the City Council resolution no. 10/2014 and subsequent amendments, by D.P.R. 27/4/1999 no. 158 and can be found on the website of the Municipality of Turriaco.
The fee is determined by the municipality of Turriaco.
When to pay
The Municipality of Turriaco annually decides the payment deadlines for the Tari.
An advance payment and a final adjustment are planned, as well as further adjustments for particular situations (cessations, takeovers, new users following the issuance of bills, etc.)
Where and how to pay
The notice can be paid via F24 form at all post offices, bank counters, through home banking services (internet), and at authorized tobacconists with a commission charge determined by the payment circuit used.
RATES
Annual fee
The TARI is paid based on the rate applied for the calendar year.
The fee for domestic users is based on the surface area, the number of occupants, and the number of emptying of the residual dry waste container recorded during the year.
The fee for non-domestic users is based on the area, the type of activity carried out, and the number of emptying of the residual dry waste container recorded during the year.
The amounts of the annual fees are available on the Municipality's website.
Daily rate
The daily fee is applied to users who temporarily occupy, with or without authorization, public premises or areas, for public use or areas burdened by public passage servitudes.
It is calculated on the square meters of occupied surface, for the days of occupation and determined based on the annual rate of the tax, prorated per day, increased by a percentage amount equal to 100%.
(*) Temporary occupation refers to use for less than 183 days within the year, even if not continuous.

NON-DOMESTIC USERS - REQUEST FOR REDUCTION OF WASTE TARIFF (Legislative Decree 152/06 art. 238 paragraph 10)
Non-domestic users who have chosen to dispose of the recyclable fractions of their urban waste outside the public service and can demonstrate that they have been sent for recovery through a certificate issued by the entity that carries out the waste recovery activity can request a reduction of the Waste Fee using the form below to be sent to Isontina Ambiente by January 31 of each calendar year.
